A Message from the Principal

January 25, 2019

Dear PS 64 Families:

A family workshop on the topic of bullying was presented this morning by our community schools director, Tony Davis. If you missed it, we plan on presenting it again during Respect for All Week, which is February 11 – 15. If you have any concerns or questions regarding school climate, respect for all, and/or bullying, please reach out to our Respect for All Liaison, Ms. Kimberly Daniels.

SFA progress reports are being sent home today via backpack. Please review and contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Mr. Pauliks has an exciting idea of forming a family ensemble to showcase your talents. Do you like to sing? Play an instrument? Want to learn? Stay tuned for details from the music department and email Mr. Pauliks at ppauliks@schools.nyc.gov with your thoughts.

I’m so please to report that, finally, after years of waiting, construction for the dance studio will begin on Friday, February 1. This is such exciting news, and I will keep you posted with the progress.

Saturday Academy begins tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. for the students who are enrolled. There are a few spaces remaining. Contact Tony Davis if you’re interested.

Have a great weekend. Let us all continue our struggle to live according to what is right and just. Be kind. Be patient. Be merciful.

Peace,

Marlon L. Hosang

Principal
